Inés Verplancke respects your rights when processing your personal data. In this statement you will find out how we collect, process and use your personal data. WHY DO WE COLLECT AND PROCESS PERSONAL DATA

Inés Verplancke only collects and processes data that is necessary for the realization of our mission and vision and for the proper functioning of the operation. 

We collect data within this framework:

  • To communicate well and to be able to make clear agreements.

  • To allow you to subscribe to / participate in our activities.

  • To allow you to make use of our offer.

  • To receive our information material.

To keep you informed of our operations.

In order to achieve the objectives described above, we request – if necessary/desirable – the following information:

  • Personal data: name, first name, organization/school, address, e-mail address, telephone number, preference of services you want to use

  • In the case of concrete activities, if necessary/required, the following data can also be requested: food preferences, nationality, gender, date of birth.

  • Financial data: if Inés Verplancke is called upon for certain services.

Inés Verplancke collects – in function of the realization of its vision and mission – personal data in 2 ways:

  • Via forms on our website: this concerns requests for workshops, training courses, keynotes, obtaining information material, etc.

  • By requesting data from government services that already have that data.

HOW IS YOUR DATA PROCESSED?

Inés Verplancke is responsible for the processing of your personal data as described in this privacy statement. We only process personal data that is necessary for the realization of our mission and vision. This data is processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and with the provisions of the federal and Flemish regulations on the protection of natural persons when processing personal data.

WHO PROCESSES THE DATA?

The personal data is mainly intended for internal use.
However, it is possible that we call on third parties to process your data for certain services. In that case, we provide your data to these third parties, but only with the intention of being able to provide this service. Sometimes we are legally obliged to pass on your data to certain government authorities, provided they have authorization.

HOW IS DATA SECURE?

Inés Verplancke strives to process personal data as securely as possible through appropriate security systems, technologies, procedures and organizational measures.

HOW LONG IS DATA RETAINED?

We do not store the personal data for longer than necessary and taking into account the legal requirements. This means that we keep your data as long as you use our services. We then keep these for 5 years, which is the period in which we must be able to account for the services provided. After this limitation period, the data will be deleted, unless it is of historical, cultural or public interest.

 

When storing personal data, a distinction is made between the period in which we actively use your data and the period in which it becomes passive. Your data remains active as long as you use our services. Afterwards, your data becomes passive. Only I have access to this.
